Overview

PinMind (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a location-based reminder application. Your privacy is important to us. PinMind is designed to keep your data on your device: we do not operate any servers, and we never see your reminders or your location history.

Data Collection

PinMind collects and uses the following data:

Location Data

• Purpose: To trigger reminders when you arrive at or leave specific locations, and to show your position on the map
• “Always” permission: PinMind asks for “Always” location access so that iOS can deliver your reminders even when the app is closed. Region monitoring is performed by iOS itself; the app does not continuously track your position
• Storage: Your saved locations are stored locally on your device only
• Sharing: We do not sell or share your location data with anyone

Reminder Data

• Reminder titles, notes, checklists, and associated locations are stored locally on your device
• This data is never transmitted to external servers

Third-Party Services

• Google Maps Platform (Maps SDK for iOS, Places API, Maps Static API): Used to display maps, search for places, and render the small map images shown in notifications. When a map is displayed or a place search is performed, the relevant coordinates and standard device information (such as device identifiers and diagnostic data) are processed by Google to provide the service, subject to the Google Privacy Policy. • Apple StoreKit: Used for the optional premium subscription. Payments are processed entirely by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms. We never see your payment details

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. We do not operate any servers or cloud databases.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual reminders and locations within the app
• Uninstalling the app from your device

Children’s Privacy

PinMind does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
